Charles A. Frontera
Charles Frontera was born and raised right here in Roseville. He attended Roseville Community Schools from K-12. He later attended classes at Macomb Community College. In 2010 Charles graduated from Wayne State University with a BA in Political Science and a Minor in Speech Communications. While at Wayne State, Charles spent a semester interning for Congressman Sander Levin here in his Roseville office, located on Gratiot.
Charles Frontera was appointed to the Roseville Parks and Recreation Board in 2007, making him the youngest board member to ever serve in Roseville. He served as Chairman of that board from 2011 until early 2012 when he was appointed to serve on the Recreation Authority of Roseville and Eastpointe (RARE) Board. He is also past Chairman of the Roseville Community Coalition, fighting against drug and alcohol abuse in the city's youth. Charles Frontera was instrumental in the creation of the Millennial Mayors Congress in 2008 and has represented Roseville in that group since its inception.
Aside from his work in the community, Charles Frontera owns and operates his own eye-care business selling and dispensing eyeglasses and other eye care needs. He also belongs to the Regional Chamber of Commerce with his business.
